ArtPlay, Inc. (“we”, “the Company”) handles personal information provided by visitors to this website and by applicants to our recruitment process as described below, and works to protect it.

1. Collection and purpose of use

We may collect personal information such as names, contact details and application documents through the contact form, job applications and other means. We use it only for the following purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries and communicating about business partnerships, licensing, press and similar matters
  • Recruitment activities (document screening, tests, interviews, recruitment-related communication and delivery of documents)
  • Human-resources administration after hiring
  • Analysis to improve recruitment and this website

We do not use personal information for any other purpose.

2. Provision to third parties and outsourcing

We manage personal information strictly and do not provide it to third parties without the individual’s consent, except in the following cases. Where handling is outsourced, it is done under our strict supervision.

  • Where required by law
  • Where necessary to protect a person’s life, body or property and obtaining consent is difficult
  • Where especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and obtaining consent is difficult
  • Where cooperation with a national or local government body, or a party entrusted by it, is needed to carry out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining consent would impede those duties

3. Disposal

Personal information is appropriately destroyed or deleted once we reasonably judge that it is no longer needed.

4. Information collected on this website

To understand how this website is used and improve it, we use Google Analytics, an analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages viewed, time spent, referring sites, approximate region, and browser and device type. This information is processed statistically and does not include names or other information that identifies individuals. It is handled under Google’s privacy policy and may be processed on servers outside Japan (including in the United States).

The contact and job application forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., to prevent abusive submissions.

5. Disclosure, correction and deletion

If you request disclosure, correction or deletion of your personal information, we will verify your identity and respond promptly in accordance with applicable law.
