Aurora from Child of Light joins Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

In collaboration with Ubisoft's Child of Light, a free update adds Aurora as a playable character, with a new storyline told in the poetic style of her own game.

In collaboration with Ubisoft’s Child of Light, a free update adding Aurora as a playable character is out today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will follow.

New playable character: Aurora

After installing the update you can start a new game as Aurora from the main menu. Miriam, Zangetsu and Aurora are all available as starting characters.

Her companion firefly Igniculus acts on his own, briefly slowing enemies and healing Aurora with his light. Aurora herself fights with techniques from her own game, such as Light Ray, which damages enemies caught in its beam.

A new story in the style of Child of Light

Aurora’s chapter is told in a new storyline that follows the rhyming, poetic narration of Child of Light. To rescue her captured friends and break the castle’s curse, Aurora sets out for the demon castle.

Our thanks to Ubisoft for welcoming a heroine from another world into ours.
