On September 17, 2026, a new gameplay trailer for Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement premiered during the Xbox showcase at Tokyo Game Show 2026.
The 90-second video shows locations, enemies and boss fights that had not been seen before: a snowbound fortress, a tower of turning gears, and a battle on the back of a wyvern. It shows the Buddy System, with Leo and Alex fighting together, the Epiphany combat system, in which new moves are learned through battles and events, and the largest map in the series as it changes from dawn to day, dusk and night.
Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement is planned for release in 2027 on PC (Steam / Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It can be wishlisted on each store now.
