Role

Drawing on your project management experience, you will maximize the project management function of the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Own budget and schedule for game development and deliver the development plan
  • Coordinate with partner companies and internal departments
  • Manage production schedules
  • Build project staffing and environment
  • Prevent, detect and resolve issues in project execution
  • Report project progress to management

Required experience

  • Professional production management experience in game development
  • Understanding of game development workflows
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and similar office software
  • Communication skills to work smoothly with many disciplines and levels
  • Basic business skills

Preferred experience

  • Project management experience on large-scale game development
  • Experience or knowledge of software development methods such as agile
  • Knowledge of project management and its tools
  • Knowledge of software development support tools
  • Knowledge of the various platforms
  • Experience liaising with external development studios

Employment
Full-time or contract (contract hires are made with conversion to full-time in mind). 3-month probation.
Location
Kanda Center Building 5F, 2-3-2 Kajicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo (about 3 min from JR Kanda Station)
Hours
10:00–19:00 (8 working hours, flextime available)
Holidays
Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year, paid annual leave, summer leave, celebration and condolence leave

Salary
Determined by experience and ability under company rules, regardless of age, and reviewed after joining. Monthly salary includes 40 hours of fixed overtime.
