Role

You will handle motion production as a whole, centred on hand-keyed animation for humans, monsters, multi-limbed creatures and mechs.

We are looking for someone who can grow into a lead role: owning specifications, quality control and outsourcing management.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build the motion workflow
  • Supervise motion production and manage its quality
  • Motion production in general, centred on hand-keyed animation for humans, monsters, multi-limbed creatures and mechs

Required

  • Experience setting up standard rigs and skinning
  • Professional experience hand-keying motion for humans, monsters, multi-limbed creatures and mechs in action games
  • Able to picture a wide range of motions and poses from a spoken or written description

Preferred

  • Broad motion-related knowledge such as physics control and HumanIK
  • Comfortable automating work with MEL or other scripting
  • Experience managing schedules and outsourcing

Employment
Full-time or contract (contract hires are made with conversion to full-time in mind). 3-month probation.
Location
Kanda Center Building 5F, 2-3-2 Kajicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo (about 3 min from JR Kanda Station)
Hours
10:00–19:00 (8 working hours, flextime available)
Holidays
Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year, paid annual leave, summer leave, celebration and condolence leave

Salary
